In this context, OptIntegral project addresses the need for sustainable industrial manufacturing processes of TOLAE LED-displays, specifically responding to the market technological demand for simpler device integration by efficient and low-cost manufacturing methodologies competitive with EU-labour cost. The OptIntegral project has developed and demonstrated a novel manufacturing process for advanced TOLAE-LED displays combining roll-to-sheet and roll-to-roll of flexible electronics with in-mould hybrid integration of the optoelectronics within the optics.
The new technology is a flexible and automated process enabling the manufacturing of diverse LED-display products for the advertisement, digital signage, audio-visual or marketing sector.
During the ISE 2018 Fair, OptIntegral partners will present the outcomes of the project and demonstrate the novel technology showcasing a diverse set of TOLAE-LED demonstrators.
